Job Description
We are a Christian center, looking for a cook to prepare delicious meals according to our USDA approved menu. Reliable, efficient with a positive attitude are requirements for this position. Experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Include at least 3-4 professional references. Responsibilities Preparing meals and snacks for the 40 children in our care four times a day Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock Complete weekly inventory and supply lists Skills Knowledge of USDA food program guidelines helpful but willing to train Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work as a team Very good communication skills Ability to work in a fast pace environment High school diploma or equivalent
