Full Time Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled, experienced and motivated Hot line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast pace enviroment. As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality dishes with exceptional attention to detail. This role participates in the tip pool. This is an evening shift.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of Ingredients:
Assist in the preparation of all food items as outlined in the menu. Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality. Ensure that all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness. Cooking on the
Line:
Execute cooking tasks efficiently and accurately during service hours. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Monitor food temperatures and cooking times to ensure adherence to food safety standards. Ensure station is clean, sanitzed and all product label on a daily basis.
Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times. Adhere to sanitation and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to achieve operational goals. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service operations. Support fellow team members during peak hours and assist in other areas of the kitchen as required.
Qualifications:
Previous 4 year experience working as a grill/saute line cook. Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position participates in a tip pool.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Comfortable working in a hot and humid environment.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
