The ideal candidate will have experience in all facets of commercial kitchens and be able to prepare simplistic, elegant, small bites to order using a TurboChef and other minimal kitchen equipment. Fine dining experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook items to order Assist in food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Monitor food inventory and ensure that ingredients are always available Collaborate with other staff to ensure that food is prepared to customer specifications Adapt to changes in the menu and be willing to learn new techniques and dishes Work with the team to ensure that all dishes are consistently prepared to the highest standards

Qualifications:

1+ years experience in a kitchen environment Ability to prepare food quickly and efficiently Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines Ability to work in a team environment Flexibility to work evenings and weekends Self-motivated and hardworking Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day. Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
