Line Cook

Inglewood Golf Club is looking for looking for a friendly, honest, hardworking individual who enjoys their job. Inglewood Golf Club is a private golf club looking to hire full-time or part-time Line Cooks to join the team. Duties will consist of assisting the kitchen staff with their daily tasks and preparing meals for both the restaurant and when the Club has banquets/events. Flexible with start times and the days of the week. Must have 2 years of restaurant. For this position, there are certain qualifications and responsibilities: Being able to lift up to 50lbs. Following recipes, prep food and restock stations. Having the ability to work full shifts on your feet. Having the ability to multitask. Keeping a clean work environment; maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Keeping composure during busy times and having consistency with food preparation. Having the ability to read and comprehend POS tickets, as well as BEO's/Event Sheets. Having an eye for the highest quality and always looking for ways to improve. Willing to learn new and creative methods in the food industry. Having a Guest is the #1 priority mentality. Communicating well with fellow employees. Being well versed in all aspects of kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, grinders, mixers, etc....). Being fully versed in food safety (Food Worker's Permit, Serve Safe).
