Responsibilities Assist in planning menus that meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, portion sizes, and safety standards Handle food with care, following proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Serve meals efficiently and courteously, maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests or residents Support catering events or special occasions by preparing and presenting food attractively Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including utensils, appliances, and work surfaces Follow all food handling regulations and safety guidelines to uphold health standards at all times Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations Proficiency in food handling, knife skills, meal preparation, and food safety practices Background in restaurant or kitchen environments within the food industry or culinary settings Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members Knowledge of catering procedures and serving techniques to support various dining needs Join us if you're passionate about creating nutritious meals with enthusiasm and precision!
