The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess the skills necessary for food preparation and meal assembly. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Duties As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, your responsibilities will include: Preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards. Assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitoring inventory levels of food supplies and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Following all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage. Participating in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of dietary requirements. Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with dietary department standards, including meal preparation for specific dietary needs. Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
