Pizza Maker

Big Mario's in Capitol Hill is hiring part-time staff members for the pizza maker position. We are looking for fun loving and hardworking individuals who have a passion for pizza. We currently have a mix of weekday morning shifts and weekend evening shifts available. We are also interested in hiring pizza makers that want to be on-call to fill shifts that work with their schedule. Pizza Cook:

Toss pizza dough by hand and launch pizzas into brick oven using a wooden peel. Experience is a plus!!Manage all food order slips and administer all verbal instructions and perform all cooking as per instructions.

Prepare all raw materials required for cooking such as cutting all vegetables and preparing dough.

Evaluate all food requirements and maintain standard level and quantity for same at all times.

Coordinate with customers to take all food and drinks orders and ensure appropriate payments from all customers.

Communicate with other staff members to ensure special instructions from customers are understood and executedAll positions and staff members:

Ensure optimal level of sanitation and safety standards in work area at all times.

Monitor and maintain clean working areaCoordinate with customers to take all food and drinks orders and ensure appropriate payments from all customers.

Maintain kind and friendly demeanor in open kitchen environment.

Work efficiently in small spacesUnderstand the needs of other kitchen personnel and assist them when needed.

Analyze all customer food orders and ensure appropriate order accuracy.
