Premier senior living community, Evergreen Fountains, is in search of chef. The ideal candidate will have experience, leadership abilities and follow-through.

Hours:

11am-7pm - Sunday- Thursday (negotiable)

Requirements:

Have a tender heart for the senior population Minimum of two-year experience preparing meals for a large group (will be preparing meals for 170 residents) Ability to mitigate complaints in a gracious manner and take constructive feedback Ability to lift up-to 50lbs Experienced in the operation of kitchen equipment: commercial steamer, convection oven, standard gas/electric range and grill, meat slicer, mixer/grinder, commercial dishwasher, cooking utensils and more Must be able to fully pass a DSHS background check Provide superior customer service to our senior population ensuring an enjoyable dining experience Prepare and serve meals from a scheduled menu in a timely fashion Relieve cooking duties of the Chef/Dietary Manager Note menu changes, list substitutes, and make menu suggestions on forms in absence of the Chef/Dietary Manager Supervise the proper storage and labeling of all useable leftovers Other duties as assigned
