Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with meal preparation for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Support the kitchen team by slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper techniques such as slicing and knife skills Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure food safety management compliance Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning ideas and special dietary accommodations when needed Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food service or restaurant experience demonstrating knowledge of food preparation and safety standards Strong understanding of culinary techniques including knife skills, slicing methods, and recipe adherence Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
