Hours Per Week Schedule:
6:00 AM•2:00 PM (Friday & Saturday) 9:30 AM•5:30 PM (Sunday & Monday)
MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE ABOVE SCHEDULE AS IS TO BE CONSIDERED
•Be available to start immediately Position Summary The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals in accordance with established menus, dietary requirements, and food safety standards. This position focuses on consistent execution, teamwork, and maintaining an organized kitchen environment. The Cook works under the direction of the Kitchen Manager and collaborates with the Evening Lead Cook to ensure smooth daily operations. Position / training scheduled to start mid-April 2026. Core Responsibilities Meal Preparation & Execution Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch according to the weekly menu Follow recipes and portion control standards Ensure therapeutic and modified diets are followed accurately Maintain proper food temperatures and presentation standards Assist with meal plating and service Prep & Kitchen Organization Complete assigned prep tasks Maintain organized workstations Rotate stock and practice proper food storage Communicate low inventory or supply needs to the Kitchen Manager Sanitation & Safety Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Maintain clean and organized kitchen areas Complete assigned cleaning duties (daily and weekly tasks) Accurately complete temperature logs and documentation as required Team Support Work cooperatively with kitchen team members Communicate clearly with leadership Assist with dish support or prep tasks when needed Maintain a positive and respectful work environment Qualifications Previous cooking experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a structured environment Dependable and team-oriented Food Handler's Permit required

$19.00 per hour
