Responsibilities Assist in menu planning to meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established recipes and safety guidelines Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards at all times Support food presentation to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction Manage food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and waste reduction Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent food service by attending to residents' or customers' needs with professionalism and warmth Experience Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong culinary skills including knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards essential for maintaining a safe environment. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry best practices is beneficial Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
