NOW HIRINGPrivate Dining Cook Prep & PantryEL Gaucho Vancouver $22 $23/hr Full-time & Part-time AvailableEL Gaucho Vancouver is hiring a cook to support our Private Dining program. This is a prep and pantry position for someone who takes pride in doing the prep work well. You ll be part of a small, focused kitchen team delivering elevated dining experiences for private events and groups.
ResponsibilitiesPrep proteins, sauces, vegetables, and cold items for private dining serviceExecute prep lists accurately with attention to consistency and qualitySupport lead cooks during service with mise en place and station restockingFollow recipes, portion specs, and plating guides to standardMaintain a clean, organized station and contribute to overall kitchen sanitationAssist with event setup and breakdown as neededExperienceSome kitchen experience preferred restaurant or cateringSolid knife skills and basic cooking fundamentalsReliable, punctual, and calm under pressureAble to follow direction and execute without needing hand-holdingAvailability for evenings and weekends based on event scheduleTeam player who takes pride in quality, even behind the scenesFood handlers card required Benefits & PerksCompetitive wagesFamily mealEmployee dining discountSick payPet insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (all employees)Growth potential401k with employer match (after one year of service and age 18 eligibility)Medical, Dental & Vision available for employees working 25+ hours/weekSchedule & Work-Life BalanceWe value our team s time away from work.
