You will be responsible for preparing and cooking Detroit-style pizza to our high standards, ensuring consistent quality, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.Responsibilities:
Pizza Preparation & Cooking- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every pie
- Handle dough, sauce, toppings, and cheese with attention to detail to create the perfect pizza
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure all pizzas are prepared and served to order in a timely manner.
- Keep the pizza station clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary ingredients
- Follow food safety protocols, including sanitation and proper storage of food items
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen
- Collaboration with Team
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Assist other kitchen team members as needed, including during busy shifts or special events
- Efficiency & Time Management
- Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand during peak hours
- Maintain a high level of focus and organization to ensure timely order completion and quality control
- Maintain Quality Control
- Ensure that all pizzas are prepared to meet Crust Collective s high-quality standards
- Troubleshoot and address any issues with cooking equipment or food preparation techniques.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in a kitchen or as a pizza cook, preferably with Detroit-style pizza
- Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong food prep knowledge and proficient knife skills.
