JOB SUMMARY A
Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving quality food in a high-volume, fast-paced concession environment while providing exceptional customer service. This position prepares menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards, maintains clean and organized workstations, assists with stocking and inventory, and supports efficient concession operations during events. Work is performed under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager and Chef and is evaluated through observation, quality of work, adherence to food safety standards, and guest satisfaction.
TYPICAL JOB DUTIES
 Prepare and cook concession menu items in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.  Ensure food is prepared safely, accurately, and served at proper temperatures.  Assist with food preparation before events, including portioning, slicing, assembling, and stocking ingredients.  Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.  Stock and replenish food, supplies, and service items throughout events.  Monitor food quality and notify supervisors of product shortages or equipment issues.  Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.  Work collaboratively with concession cashiers, runners, and other team members to provide efficient guest service.  Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, steam tables, and other food preparation equipment.  Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking concession stands.  Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
 Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.  Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.  Ability to prepare food quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.  Understanding food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.  Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.  Must be self-motivated.  Must have a commitment to providing quality service.  Ability to take direction.  Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.  Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.  Must have or be able to quickly obtain Food Handlers and MAST permit.
