  • Full-time Job Summary Open interviews will be held Wednesday afternoons between 2 and 4.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in upscale casual dining environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed Maintain equipment and utensils in proper working condition, performing basic maintenance as required Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs Excellent knife skills and ability to handle food safely and efficiently Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings preferred Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional culinary artistry!
