Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting with meal preparation and ensuring food safety and quality. Duties:

• Assist with menu planning and preparation of meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as necessary
• Cook and season food according to recipes or personal judgment
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with catering events as needed

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques
• Ability to work well within a team
