Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will also split your time on the Grill Side- Cooking Burgers, Sandwiches and using the Fryers. We are willing to Train Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Utilize various kitchen equipment, including ovens, knives, and other cooking tools, to create high-quality dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in menu development by contributing new pizza recipes and ideas based on seasonal ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for ordering supplies. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting is a plus but we are willing to train Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Proficient with kitchen tools, including knives and cooking equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for culinary arts, particularly in pizza making, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
