Line Cook Opportunity:

The Osthoff Resort is an award-winning AAA Four Diamond property located on the beautiful shores of Elkhart Lake. Renowned for our warm hospitality, elegant accommodations, and exceptional culinary offerings, we host a wide range of events including lakeside weddings, conferences, and seasonal festivals. We are seeking a Line Cook to join our banquet culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will assist with all aspects of banquet food preparation and execution, ensuring high standards and delivering memorable dining experiences. •We are open to full or part-time positions. •Full-time team members are eligible for our complete benefit package, including paid vacation, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plus company match, resort-wide discounts, and more!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all banquet event orders are completed in a timely manner Maintain knowledge of standard menus, special menus, and 86 items Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and banquet team members Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation for all banquet functions Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Maintain a harmonious work environment All other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements:

1-3 years of culinary experience, preferably in a high-volume banquet or resort setting Culinary degree or equivalent professional training a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holiday availability Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence Why Work at the Osthoff Resort?
