  • Part-time Serenity Gardens is a 19-unit assisted living community in Appleton, Wisconsin, built on the belief that every resident deserves to be treated like family.
We're looking for a Part-Time Cook who takes pride in preparing warm, home-style meals that residents look forward to every day.
Schedule:
Part-time, 3 days per week, 10-hour shifts (30 hours/week), including an alternating weekend rotation (every other Saturday and Sunday). What You'll Do Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks based on our approved menu cycle Accommodate resident dietary needs, including low-sodium, diabetic, pureed/mechanical soft, thickened liquids, and food allergies Keep food storage organized and properly labeled, following FIFO practices Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen that meets Wisconsin health and safety standards Track inventory and let the Director know when supplies are running low Coordinate meal timing with caregiving staff Help prepare special meals for holidays and family events What We're Looking For Previous cooking experience (senior living, healthcare, or institutional kitchen experience a plus) Food handler certification, or willingness to get certified within 30 days of hire Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25-30 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently A warm, respectful attitude toward residents and coworkers — this is a home, not a cafeteria Willingness to work occasional holidays as needed

$16
