The Foxhole Bar & Lounge is looking for 1-2 dependable part-time cooks to join our team! We're a busy small-town bar and restaurant that proudly supports the American Legion Post 185 in Grantsburg. Every meal served helps support our veterans, Legion programs, and our local community. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic person to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional food service experiences by preparing, cooking, and presenting meals with precision and passion. Your expertise will help create a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel valued and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while contributing to a team committed to excellence. Duties Prepare and cook meals with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards Handle food with proper hygiene practices, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly; wash dishes Manage food handling procedures efficiently during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals What we offer: $16-$17/hour, depending on experience (training pay starts at $15/hr) Part-time hours Closed every Monday A supportive team and a workplace where your work truly makes a difference Qualifications Relevant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person! Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Ability to work alone while maintaining efficiency and timeliness Ability to work evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule (schedule includes set days weekly and/or bi-weekly)
