Saturday availability required Job Overview Garver Events is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Catering Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role focuses on food preparation and execution of dinner service for catered events ranging from 20 to 350 guests and regular dinner service in the Garver Lounge. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well within a team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality food consistently. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and execute food prep tasks according to recipes and event timelines Assist with cooking and plating during dinner service for catered events of various sizes and service types (buffet, family style, plated) Execute tickets during Lounge dinner service Maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen stations before, during, and after service Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Accurately follow directions from chefs and kitchen leadership Assist with additional tasks as needed to support event execution Complete cleaning projects as assigned Qualifications 1-2 years of kitchen experience required Ability to work independently during slow shifts Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic understanding of food safety practices Key Attributes Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Ability to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently Work Environment Fast-paced kitchen setting supporting events of varying sizes Evening and weekend work required, including consistent Saturday availability Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies If you're a dependable team player who enjoys working in a dynamic catering environment, we encourage you to apply.Pay:
