Ferry X-ing is looking for an experience cook that maintain consistency and uphold established flavor standards Ensure safe food handling by following proper sanitation and food safety guidelines Assist kitchen operations by keeping ingredients, tools, and supplies organized for smooth and efficient workflow Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and portioning with accurate knife techniques Support meal assembly and plating to deliver visually appealing dishes for service Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and compliant with health regulations Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly valued Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced kitchen settings with solid knife skills Knowledge of culinary fundamentals, including cooking, prep work, and food service operations Background in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus Ability to follow detailed directions and collaborate effectively within a team Basic cooking abilities and a genuine passion for food and hospitality Familiarity with food safety and proper handling practices Ability to remain focused and productive in a high-energy environment Strong teamwork mindset with a positive, proactive attitude Keen attention to detail in both food quality and presentation This role is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts who are looking to grow their skills.
