As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. If you want to learn about butchery and making items from scratch, this position would be a good fit. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas. Assist in the management of inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques, with experience in various cooking methods. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of dietary aide practices and fine dining standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong knife skills for effective food preparation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
