Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving assistance Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry, including food preparation and cooking skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills and experience in meal preparation and food service operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
