Job Description
Join ARAMARK as a Cook/Cashier, supporting quality food service for guests in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll prepare and cook menu items to brand and safety standards while providing friendly, efficient cashier service. Responsibilities include taking orders, handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety and sanitation procedures. You'll work as part of a supportive team focused on service, safety, and inclusivity, with opportunities for training, skill-building, and career growth across Aramark's diverse client locations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items following Aramark recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Set up, stock, and maintain clean, organized food prep and service areas Take customer orders accurately, handle cash and POS transactions, and issue receipts Provide friendly, efficient customer service and resolve basic guest concerns Follow sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards, including proper food storage and labeling Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies Support opening, mid-shift, and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking Work collaboratively with team members and follow direction from supervisors Comply with Aramark policies, uniform standards, and procedures Required Skills Food preparation Basic cooking techniques (grilling, frying, baking) Food safety and sanitation (Serv Safe standards) Cash handling Point-of-sale (POS) operation Customer service Basic math for transactions and portioning Inventory rotation and stocking Cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas Time management in a fast-paced environment
