Job Description
Line Cook (Full-Time) $18.00 - $26.00 per hour | Benefits Eligible Racine Country Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen while preparing high-quality food for our members, guests, banquets, and special events. Our kitchen offers a professional, team-oriented environment where cooks have the opportunity to expand their skills while working alongside experienced culinary professionals. Schedule Primarily Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Occasional Sundays and holidays as needed What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Work stations including sauté, grill, pantry, and banquet production as assigned Assist with food preparation, including cutting, chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently Monitor food quality, temperatures, and cooking times Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards Properly label, store, rotate, and maintain inventory to minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with banquet and special event food production Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and fellow kitchen team members What We're Looking For Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, banquet facility, or quick-service environment preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions consistently Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with company match Opportunities for growth and advancement Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Join a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture. 3RkBjNK2EO
