Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and flavor excellence Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, providing friendly and efficient service to all guests Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance the dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and cashier station in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards Support catering events or special functions by preparing meals and serving guests with professionalism Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent customer service Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings such as fine dining or catering environments Ability to travel to other event locations as needed Exceptional serving skills combined with a friendly, positive attitude toward customers Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and kitchen operations to support overall restaurant success
