Duties Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients Support in meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels Follow menu plans and assist in preparing ingredients for daily meal service Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring high standards of presentation and service Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in a restaurant or food service setting Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools and equipment Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills Basic understanding of menu planning and meal assembly processes Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering quality meals while fostering a supportive work environment.
