In this role, you will prepare tasty, appealing, high-quality meals for residents, employees, and guests while maintaining excellent standards for sanitation, safety, and presentation. What You'll Do Prepare and portion meals, salads, and desserts in accordance with resident dietary needs. Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and the "first in, first out" method. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and equipment. Operate kitchen, dishwashing, and food service equipment safely and effectively. Support a positive dining experience through quality food preparation and good customer service. Work as part of a collaborative team that values residents, guests, and coworkers. What We're Looking For ServSafe certification required. High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of cooking experience; short-order or institutional food service experience preferred. Knowledge of institutional kitchen appliances and safe food handling practices. Ability to read, write, speak English, follow instructions, and perform basic math. Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and personal hygiene standards. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or carry items up to 40 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Ready to make every meal matter?
