Job Overview Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Worker/Cook, where your passion for baking and culinary skills will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and cooking various menu items, ensuring each product meets our high-quality standards. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and customer service will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment for our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and safety standards Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs using cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal Package baked items efficiently for sale or delivery, maintaining presentation quality and freshness Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support daily bakery operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, utilizing knife skills and baking tools with precision Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting customers with their selections Qualifications Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry work is preferred; culinary experience is highly valued Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, food handling, and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a food industry environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service Experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
