Responsibilities Assist in menu planning and meal preparation to meet dietary guidelines and customer preferences Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and safety Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and positive interactions with guests Support dietary department operations by assisting with food distribution, portioning, and inventory management Maintain kitchen cleanliness by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas regularly Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices Requirements Prior experience in dietary services or food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant staff, or kitchen assistant preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling procedures Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitude Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about culinary arts and providing exceptional food service.
