Cook

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.) Cook food in various utensils or grillers. Check food while cooking to stir or turn. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served. Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check quality of ingredients. Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages. All other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a cook. Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware. Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.) Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. Ability to work in a team. Very good communication skills. Excellent physical condition and stamina. Serve Safe Certification.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work alternating shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends Must be 18 at time of hire. Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test. Must have a valid Wyoming Driver's License Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
