Duties Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and vehicle detailing Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to achieve a fresh, like-new appearance Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, and polishing tools efficiently while adhering to safe work practices Maintain company vehicle exterior and interior cleanliness noting when supplies need to be filled and equipment needs service. Assist with lifting tasks when handling equipment or vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency in all operations Learn the method of operations and retain processes. The most important part of the detailers assistant is to be 1 step ahead of the detailer as to not slow the technician down. Experience Prior experience in auto detailing or automotive is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Clean driving record Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and handle cleaning equipment responsibly Customer service skills that help create a positive experience for clients during vehicle drop-off or pickup Experience operating heavy machinery or tools such as buffers or pressure washers is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects safely, and working in various weather conditions Knowledge of vehicle operation, including standard passenger cars and manual transmissions, enhances overall performance Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle care while building your expertise in auto detailing!
