$17.00 - $18.50 Position Summary The Detailer is responsible in the preparation and presentation of vehicles for sale and for customer delivery, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough cleaning, polishing, and conditioning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, to enhance their attractiveness and value. This position demands attention to detail and a commitment to quality, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Detailer, you will take pride in presenting vehicles in their best light and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other team members, including sales personnel and service technicians, to meet the expectations of our customers and to uphold the reputation of our dealership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Thoroughly wash, wax, and polish all vehicles to enhance their appearance. Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and leather surfaces. Apply protectants to interior surfaces, such as dashboards and vinyl. Buff and polish paint surfaces to remove scratches and imperfections. Detail engine compartments and undercarriages to ensure comprehensive cleanliness. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to maintain safety and quality standards. Collaborate with the sales team to prepare vehicles for dealership display and customer delivery. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related field. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under deadlines. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude and high energy with willingness to go above and beyond.
