$14.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Position Overview B4M Autos is seeking a dependable and experienced Mobile Automotive Detailer to provide professional vehicle detailing services at customer locations and dealership sites. This is a mobile detailing position. The employee will be responsible for safely driving a pickup truck with a detailing trailer attached, transporting detailing equipment and supplies to customer locations, setting up the mobile detailing operation, completing the assigned detailing services, and safely returning the truck and trailer. Candidates must be comfortable operating and maneuvering a pickup truck while towing a trailer. Key Responsibilities Safely drive a pickup truck while towing a mobile detailing trailer Properly hitch and unhitch the detailing trailer Perform pre-trip checks of the truck, trailer, hitch, safety chains, lights, tires, and equipment Safely back up, turn, park, and maneuver the truck and trailer in residential, commercial, and dealership locations Secure detailing equipment, chemicals, water tanks, hoses, pressure washers, generators, and other equipment before transportation Set up and break down the mobile detailing equipment at each job site Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing Hand wash and pressure wash vehicles using proper automotive procedures Vacuum and deep-clean vehicle interiors Shampoo/extract carpets, floor mats, and cloth upholstery Clean and condition leather and interior surfaces Remove stains, dirt, pet hair, odors, and other contamination when possible Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, windows, mirrors, door jambs, and exterior trim Perform waxing, polishing, clay-bar treatments, and protective applications Safely operate automotive buffers/polishers Perform basic paint correction to reduce oxidation, swirl marks, and light scratches Apply tire dressing and interior/exterior finishing products Prepare dealership vehicles for photography, test drives, and customer delivery when required Inspect the completed vehicle before presenting it to the customer Communicate professionally with customers at mobile job locations Report any pre-existing vehicle damage or unusual conditions before beginning work Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck, trailer, equipment, and detailing supplies Monitor supplies and inform management when chemicals or materials need replenishment Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Experience driving a pickup truck while towing a trailer Must be comfortable backing, parking, turning, and maneuvering a truck and trailer in tight spaces Understanding of safe trailer towing and equipment-loading practices Previous professional automotive detailing experience preferred Experience with buffers/polishers and paint correction preferred Ability to safely operate pressure washers, vacuums, extractors, generators, and other mobile detailing equipment Knowledge of automotive detailing chemicals and their proper use Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Professional and respectful customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to work independently Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting equipment and supplies Ability to work in varying Georgia weather conditions What We're Looking For This position requires more than someone who simply knows how to wash cars. We are looking for someone who can independently operate a professional mobile detailing setup from start to finish — safely drive the truck and trailer to the customer's location, set up the equipment, professionally detail the vehicle, communicate with the customer, pack everything securely, and safely travel to the next appointment. The ideal candidate takes ownership of the vehicle, customer experience, equipment, truck, and trailer while on the job. Compensation $14.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill.
