Car Wash Attendant Pro Clean Car Wash - 3.6 Coralville, IA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $12 - $14 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Teamwork Outdoor work experience Maintenance Attention to detail Full Job Description Position Summary The Wash Attendant is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and positive experience for every customer while helping maintain the appearance and efficiency of the car wash facility. This position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner. Assist customers with entering the wash safely and correctly. Guide vehicles into the proper lane and ensure vehicles are properly positioned before entering the wash. Perform thorough pre-wash preparation, including spraying, brushing, or treating vehicles as directed. Inspect vehicles for potential issues or conditions that may affect the wash process. Monitor the wash tunnel and surrounding areas for safety concerns, equipment issues, or improperly positioned vehicles. Maintain a clean and organized wash area, including lanes, tunnel entrances, exits, and customer areas. Remove trash and debris from the property and maintain a clean appearance throughout the shift. Assist customers with questions regarding wash services, memberships, promotions, and facility procedures. Promote and explain monthly membership options when appropriate and help customers understand the benefits of membership. Identify and report equipment problems, damage, spills, or safety hazards to management immediately. Follow all company safety procedures and operating standards. Work effectively with other team members to keep cars moving efficiently and minimize customer wait times. Provide professional assistance to customers who experience issues during their visit. Complete additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by management. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, lift, and perform physical tasks. Ability to safely handle wash equipment and cleaning supplies. Ability to lift and carry items as required for daily operations. Qualifications No previous car wash experience required; training will be provided. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and company procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
