Vernon, IA 52314 Job Summary for Detailer The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles for auction by ensuring they meet the company's appearance and quality standards. Whether you are just starting your career or looking to build hands-on automotive skills, this role offers on-the-job training in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you enjoy physical work and take pride in transforming vehicles from dusty to dazzling, this is the role for you. Rewards for Detailer $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Great benefits & paid time off Paid holidays Matching 401(k) Career growth potential Growing national auto auction company Responsibilities for Detailer Washes and cleans the exterior, interior, and engine/motor areas of vehicles from financial institutions and automobile dealerships. Prepares vehicles to meet auction-ready appearance and quality standards. Uses industry-standard tools, equipment, and cleaning products (training provided). Works collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and consistent vehicle preparation. Follows safety procedures and company guidelines while performing detailing tasks. Helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Hours for Detailer Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm Wednesday (Auction Sale Day) 7:30am - 9:00pm No Fridays (3 day weekend)
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities for Detailer Must be 21 years of age or older. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions. Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Education and Experience for Detailer High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior detailing experience is a plus but not required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality. Physical Requirements for Detailer Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Work is performed in an auto auction setting and may include exposure to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels, and occasional fumes or odors associated with vehicle exhaust. Position requires standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity throughout the workday. America's is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
