Responsibilities Perform thorough vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and the use of automotive buffers and cleaning equipment to remove dirt, grime, and debris. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore paint clarity and shine, ensuring a flawless finish. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques. Apply safe work practices during all detailing procedures to prevent damage and ensure personal safety. Utilize manual transmission skills when necessary for moving or positioning vehicles within the auto detailing facility. Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process by regularly inspecting and cleaning work areas and equipment. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving automotive parts or equipment while adhering to proper safety protocols. Operate various cleaning tools efficiently to optimize workflow and quality standards. Support the overall appearance of the auto detailing facility by keeping workspaces organized and sanitized. Experience Prior experience in auto detailing or a related auto body repair environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with standard passenger car operation, including handling different vehicle sizes and types. Knowledge of safe work practices related to vehicle cleaning, buffing, painting correction, and equipment use. Experience with automotive buffers, polishing tools, and cleaning supplies is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during detailed cleaning tasks. Valid driving skills with a clean driving record are beneficial for moving vehicles within the facility if needed.
