Automotive Porter/Detailer 1901,1903,1911 East Edwardsville Road, Wood River, IL 62095 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Porter/Detailer, where your energy and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean, polished, and ready for customers while providing outstanding service that keeps our clients coming back. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in car detailing, customer service, and vehicle maintenance within a fast-paced, friendly environment. Duties Perform thorough car washes, including exterior cleaning and interior vacuuming to ensure vehicles look their best. Maintain cleanliness of the dealership or service area by performing janitorial and custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Assist with vehicle movement around the lot, including parking, retrieving, and delivering vehicles for customers or service appointments. Support additional detailing tasks such as cleaning wheels, tires, upholstery, and applying protective coatings when needed. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and detailing procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior experience in car washing, detailing, or custodial work is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for moving vehicles around the lot.
