Job Description
Job Summary A Porter / Car Detailer is needed for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. This entry-level automotive role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, takes pride in clean and professional presentation, and wants to build long-term experience in a dealership environment. In this role, you will support the sales team by preparing vehicles for display, customer viewing, and customer delivery. You will receive hands-on training in a team-focused environment with dependable leadership, clear expectations, and opportunities to grow within the automotive industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented candidate who values quality work, teamwork, and a steady schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and detail new vehicles to meet dealership presentation standards.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, sales display, and customer viewing.
- Safely move, park, and position vehicles throughout the dealership lot and work areas.
- Inspect vehicles for visible damage, maintenance concerns, or presentation issues and notify management as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized detailing area while following company safety procedures.
- Support the sales team by keeping vehicles clean, polished, and ready for customers. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$14.00 per hour, within the provided range of $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.- Annual equivalent: $29,120 per year.
- Employment type: Temp-to-Hire.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.- Additional schedule requirement: Every other Saturday required, with a weekday off during that week.
Location:
Bossier City, LA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Detail and clean vehicles to meet dealership standards.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and sales display.
- Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership lot.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be at least 22 years of age.
- Current automobile insurance required.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome. Preferred Qualifications
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Previous car detailing, car wash, porter, lot attendant, or automotive dealership experience is a plus.
