This is a fast-paced dealership detailing position responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing vehicles to meet Deatus and dealership quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and understands the importance of completing vehicles efficiently without sacrificing quality. Team members must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working around dealership employees and customers. New hires begin at $16-$18 per hour during training . Employees who demonstrate the ability to complete assigned detailing tasks independently and consistently meet quality standards may advance to $20 per hour . Duties Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle details Wash and dry vehicles thoroughly Clean and detail wheels, rims, tires, and wheel wells Clean engine compartments when required Vacuum carpets, seats, floor areas, trunks, and crevices Shampoo carpets, mats, and cloth seats as assigned Clean dashboards, consoles, cup holders, door panels, vents, and interior surfaces Clean interior and exterior windows and mirrors Remove stickers, labels, tags, tape, and residue when required Apply approved wax, spray wax, tire dressing, and interior products Inspect vehicles before marking them complete Correct any missed areas before vehicles are released Follow Deatus detailing procedures and quality-control standards Return vehicle keys to the designated key area immediately after completion Keep detailing equipment clean and properly stored Clean and organize your work area at the end of each shift Empty trash, clean floor areas, and wash towels when needed Immediately report damaged or broken equipment to management Follow all dealership and Deatus safety, conduct, attendance, and dress-code policies Maintain professional communication and behavior while on HGreg property Experience Previous automotive detailing, car wash, dealership, body shop, or vehicle reconditioning experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Candidates should have:

Automotive detailing experience preferred Experience using detailing chemicals, vacuums, pressure washers, extractors, and related equipment is a plus Ability to complete interior and exterior detailing tasks with limited supervision after training Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to work outdoors and in varying temperatures Professional attitude and appearance Willingness to learn Deatus detailing procedures and quality standards Dealership detailing experience is a plus, but training is available for candidates who demonstrate reliability, work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
