Job Description

Used Car / Lot Person Lenzen Chevrolet - Chaska, MN Union Position Position Summary Lenzen Chevrolet is looking for a dependable and hardworking Used Car / Lot Person to help keep our vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles throughout the dealership, including sales deliveries, completed body shop vehicles, rental vehicles, and lot inventory. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and prepare vehicles for customer sales deliveries. Clean vehicles after completion of body shop repairs. Clean and maintain rental vehicles. Clean used and lot vehicles as needed to keep inventory looking its best. Wash, vacuum, and clean the interior and exterior of vehicles. Clean windows, dashboards, door panels, carpets, seats, and other interior surfaces. Remove dirt, dust, debris, stickers, and other materials from vehicles. Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable before being returned to customers or placed on the sales lot. Move vehicles between the sales lot, service department, body shop, rental area, wash/detail area, and other locations as needed. Fuel vehicles as needed and help ensure they are ready for customers. Keep the vehicle wash/detail area clean and organized. Help maintain a clean and orderly dealership lot. Assist with other general dealership duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license and good driving record. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work. Able to work independently and stay productive throughout the day. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Previous automotive detailing, dealership, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in making sure every vehicle leaving our dealership looks its best. This is a union position.
Pay:
From $14.85 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
