Detailer About the Role The Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing vehicles for delivery, display, or return to customers. This role ensures vehicles meet dealership quality standards for appearance and cleanliness. The Detailer supports Sales, Service, and Body Shop operations by maintaining a professional presentation of all vehicles. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities Vehicle Detailing & Cleaning Wash, vacuum, and detail new, used, service, and body shop vehicles. Clean and condition interiors including seats, carpets, dashboards, and trim. Clean exterior surfaces including windows, wheels, tires, and body panels. Apply waxes, sealants, and protectants as required. Vehicle Preparation & Quality Standards Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and appearance prior to delivery or display. Identify cosmetic concerns and report issues to supervisors. Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation standards. Equipment & Safety Operate pressure washers, vacuums, buffers, and cleaning equipment safely. Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines. Maintain clean and organized detailing areas.

Requirements:

Qualifications Prior detailing or car wash experience preferred but not required. Attention to detail and pride in quality work. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Schedule Full-time or part-time; hours may vary based on business needs. KPIs Vehicle Presentation Quality On-Time Vehicle Readiness Rework or Quality Issues Compensation $15-$17/hr (based on experience and performance)
