- $19 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Company vehicle operation Driver's License Full Job Description Car runners work with the service and sales departments moving vehicles around the dealership lot, retrieving vehicles for customers when service is complete and providing general clean-up work for the dealer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) Prepare vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, locate key tags and drive vehicles from the service lanes to the service bays. Move vehicles not currently being serviced keeping parking/holding areas orderly so that vehicles can be easily located and moved. Keep the service aisle lanes clean and free of debris. Assist customers and co-workers with the rental/loaner vehicle intake/outtake process. Drive vehicles through an automatic car wash system. Retrieve newly-serviced vehicles for customers. Provide general clean-up duties as necessary to ensure service, shop, customer, parking and traffic areas remain clean and orderly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Less than high school education
Experience:
No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
Ability to learn general computer operations.
Certificates & Licenses:
Must possess a valid driver's license. Must meet and maintain standards for driver acceptability as determined by the insurance company utilized by the dealership.
Other Requirements:
Must have the ability to learn to operate a standard shift vehicle. Must be neat in appearance and courteous to customers.
