Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Porter/Detailer to join our team at O'Fallon Buick GMC. As an Automotive Porter/Detailer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vehicles are presented in pristine condition to our customers. Your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a clean and inviting environment will contribute to enhancing our customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles, both interior and exterior, to maintain high standards of presentation Ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and applying interior/exterior protectants Safely move vehicles on the dealership lot and to designated areas Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and showroom Perform basic maintenance tasks such as tire pressure checks and fluid top-offs Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure timely and efficient vehicle preparations Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in automotive detailing or related field is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required) Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
