Automotive Detailer / Car Washer / Lot Attendant About the Role The Brand New Lou Fusz Kia in Wentzville, Mo. is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as an Automotive Detailer / Car Washer / Lot Attendant . This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance of our vehicles and dealership while helping ensure our customers receive a clean, professional, and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Whether you're looking to begin a career in the automotive industry or already have experience detailing vehicles, this is a great opportunity to become part of the Lou Fusz Team . What You'll Do Wash, clean, and detail new, used, service, and customer vehicles. Thoroughly clean vehicle exteriors, including washing, drying, wheels, tires, windows, and other exterior surfaces. Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, consoles, door panels, and windows. Remove trash, dirt, dust, and debris from vehicles. Perform basic interior and exterior detailing services. Apply appropriate cleaning and detailing products to vehicle surfaces. Maintain clean and presentable vehicles for display, delivery, service customers, and dealership use. Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and ensure they meet dealership standards. Assist with moving vehicles throughout the dealership lot and service areas. Park vehicles in designated areas and maintain an organized vehicle inventory. Locate and stage vehicles for customers, Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, and management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, service drive, and vehicle display areas. Assist with fueling vehicles and maintaining appropriate fuel levels as needed. Help maintain vehicle keys and ensure vehicles are parked in the proper locations. Assist with lot organization and inventory movements. Maintain and properly use detailing equipment, tools, and supplies. Notify management of any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues discovered during the detailing process. Follow all procedures for protecting customer vehicles and personal property. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Provide friendly and professional service to customers and fellow employees. Perform other duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Dependability and excellent attendance. Previous automotive detailing, car washing, lot attendant, or dealership experience is helpful but not required . The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift as required to perform the job. Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
