Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a meticulous and hardworking Automotive Detail & Reconditioning Specialist to join our small dealership team. In this role, you will be responsible for the "front-line" presentation of our inventory. Your goal is to transform trade-ins and auction purchases into showroom-ready vehicles that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and aesthetics. Responsibilities Perform professional-grade washes, including engine bay cleaning, wheel wells, and door jambs.
Deep-clean vehicle interiors:
vacuuming, steam cleaning carpets, treating leather/vinyl, and ensuring glass is streak-free. Identify and report cosmetic issues (dents, upholstery tears, or windshield chips) to management. Perform basic "recon" tasks, such as headlight restoration or trim painting. Monitor fluid levels and tire pressure; alert the team if mechanical red flags are spotted during the cleaning process. Organize and move vehicles on the lot to maintain a clean, professional display. Run errands such as oil changes, inspections, parts pick up. Ensure all vehicles have appropriate window stickers and buyers' guides.
Skiils:
Previous experience in automotive related or car deailing roles is highly desirable, but not required Hands-on experience in dealership settings is a plus Valid driver's license with experience operating vehicles required; ability to drive confidently in parking areas. Manual transmission driving ability is ideal, but not required Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests, team members, and external partners Ability to stand for long periods, work in various weather conditions, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Reliability is a must. You should be able to work independently and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a small dealership, we value every team member's contribution.
