Position Summary:
The Lot Attendant / Detailer will play an important role in ensuring our dealership lot and vehicle inventory are clean, organized, and ready to provide an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities of a Lot Attendant include, but are not limited to the following duties : Park and organize vehicles on the dealership lot; Assist in the movement of vehicles between the lot and service department; Ensure all vehicles are properly accounted for and secured; Maintain the cleanliness of the lot, including removing debris and trash; Assist in the preparation of vehicles for delivery to customers; Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards; Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns; Install dealer decals, license plate frames, and other accessories as needed; Remove snow, ice, or debris from vehicles and walkways when necessary. Provide support to the sales and service departments as needed; Annual compliance training; Other duties assigned.
Qualifications :
Valid Driver's license in good standing; High School diploma or equivalent; Regular and consistent attendance and timeliness is essential; In-person work is essential; Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles; Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills; Good communication skills; Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands :
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; Ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools.
Work Environment :
The Lot Attendant will primarily work outdoors on the dealership lot. They may be exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The Lot Attendant may also be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
