Full Job Description Occupational Summary:
The detailer cleans and refurbishes new, used, and customer vehicles In addition to the responsibilities of a detailer, the Detail Team Leader is responsible for, in the absence of the Manager, opening and closing repair orders, inspecting completed details for quality, maintain the delivery board, delegate work and keep shop productivity flowing and verify that the shop is clean, supplies refilled and department is secure at close of business. The Detail Team Leader must maintain a clear and open line of communication with the Manager as well as assist manager in mentoring new hires
Essential Job Functions:
Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes Vacuum interior of vehicles. Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents applicators, and cleaning devices. Apply revitalizing and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components. Take pictures of completed used vehicles and upload them to the website Responsible for flagging and closing repair orders
Hours:
5 days, 40 hours/week
Qualifications:
Previous/current experience as a detailer, minimum 1 year Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand and power tools safely. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written. Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and/or PC. Valid in-state drivers license.
