Full Job Description About Malcho's Car Wash:

Malcho's Car Wash is a family owned and operated car wash in the Greater Rochester area with manned locations in Fairport and Pittsford. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and always strive to make the customer happy.

About the position:

The Car Wash Attendant is to provide excellent assistance in any manner needed to any and all customers who patronize Malcho's Car Wash. Individuals in this position report directly to the Manager(s) of the car wash. There are no employees reporting to the attendant. The attendant is authorized to represent the company when assisting any customer(s).

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are included but not limited to: Be keenly aware of customer service, and attitude with our customers Conduct with customers reflecting courtesy, integrity and concern for their needs Carry yourself in a professional manner in every aspect of customer activities Safeguard company and customer information and valuable equipment Complete specified assignments in as little time as required while meeting quality standards Empty and clean out each garbage container, keeping them neat and clean looking Sweep and/or blow all the driveway area, keeping it free and clear of debris Pick up trash and debris around building, vacuum area or shrubbery as needed Perform minor maintenance within the facility Roll and neaten hoses when necessary Professionally help customers with choices at the pay stations and with membership sales Must be able to read, understand and speak the English language Assist in the training of new Attendants Loading vehicles, applying prep solutions and bug prep to vehicles entering the tunnel Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Be a team player Customer service oriented Friendly and energetic attitude Must be able and willing to work weekends Punctual and presentable Willingness to submit and pass all pre-employment screenings Physical demands of this position require mobility to maneuver around the car wash site, plus moderate physical work that involves some heavy lifting with a minimum of 50 pounds, the use of both small and large hand tools, and the ability to climb and use various ladders. The individual is required to have the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Sight and hearing may be corrected to accomplish these tasks. Mental demands include learning regulations for proper handling hazardous chemicals, ability to read and understand instructions. In addition, he/she must have mathematical ability to count and inventory, interpret job specifications, good verbal & written communication, good people skills and ability to make quality control decisions. We are currently hiring for opening and closing shifts, part time and full time with hours ranging from 12-40 hours. We are open 7 days a week from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.
